Etminan retrospective underway at Barg Gallery

TEHRAN, May 30 (MNA) -- A retrospective exhibition of painter Babak Etminan’s 20-year career is currently underway at the Barg Art Gallery.

According to the artist, his works provide a glimpse at the world and the secret of creation. He says he has also tried to get closer to his surroundings and expresses this through his painting.

His works in the figurative style and collages on Iranian themes and creation have been displayed at several exhibitions in Iran and the United States.

The retrospective continues until June 16 at the gallery, which is located on Daman Afshar St., off of Vali-e Asr Avenue.

Sol releases new album

TEHRAN -- The Sol musical ensemble recently released a new album entitled “Miniature”.

“Miniature” contains 21 pieces composed by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Ravel, Albinoni, and others.

The musicians are Bahman Mahabadi, Human Akhtari, Purya Keshavarz, and Nahid Abtahi.

Their next album “Laudation” will also be available soon.
