Iran to become radiopharmaceutical hub in ME

TEHRAN, Jan. 20 (MNA) – Head of AEOI has said serious measure will be taken to turn Iran into the radiopharmaceutical manufacturing hub in the Middle East.

Ali Akbar Salehi, the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran issued a message on Tuesday on the occasion of JCPOA implementation.

In his message to the Iranian nation, Salehi said “in the light of God’s blessings as well as prudence and wisdom of senior decision-makers in the country together with the efforts of various organizations, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) eventually became operational for which I feel obliged to thank all Iranian people for their kind cooperation in this regard.”

“The negotiating team appeared against their counterparts with unswerving determination and within the principles of foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran remaining committed to three principles of dignity, wisdom and expediency,” he added.

Salehi further acknowledged that the reaching of the important achievement was the result of the nation’s firmness of purpose to bring about inner transformation aiming to create change in the surrounding world.

“Iranians sought to resolve the made-up crisis with wisdom and dignity preventing the issue from turning into a source of disputes or divisions,” underlined the official.

He went on to add that “the great nation of Iran managed to turn the country into the base of stability in the crisis-stricken region of the Middle East while some Islamic countries fail to appreciate the outstanding success.”

AEOI head further said “thank God the Almighty, not only the conspiracy of the ill-wishers is foiled but also the ground is prepared for further development of Iranian nuclear industry activities.”

“I strongly believe that Islamic Iran is today on the verge of making a historical move for growth and progress and the great Iranian nation is now entering the period of wisdom,” he underlined.

Salehi maintained that “with the entry into the new era, the younger generation in the society will be witnessing a boom in the realm of thought, culture, politics, technology, business and industry leading to prosperity and social justice.”

“Proper grounds have been provided to pursue policy of constructive engagement with the world as well as to take the necessary measures to protect infrastructure and achievements of the nuclear industry with more certainty and confidence,” said the official urging the nuclear industry activists to move in the direction of deepening the activities of the industry on the basis of cost-benefit patterns.

He further assured that by taking advantage of the Leader’s remarks as well as the support of President Rouhani, the existing barriers and obstacles will be dealt with.

AEOI head announced that numerous nuclear industry activities in various fields have been put into agenda including uranium enrichment, development and modernization of Arak heavy water reactor, construction of two new power plant units as well as establishment of the largest nuclear hospital.

“The necessary plans have been developed to turn the Islamic Republic of Iran into the radiopharmaceutical manufacturing hub in the Middle East,” he emphasized.

He concluded by saying that now we are at the beginning of a new period in the history of our country asserting “new experiences and new achievements await the great nation of Iran by keeping the enjoyment of the benefits of peaceful nuclear technology as a top priority among our national goals.
