After three years of research an Iranian company acquired the technology to produce laundry balls, Arash Montazer, a member of the Iranian campaign to promote national production, told the reporters.
Three years ago, scientists in Iran started research on the effects of alkaline ionized water on the body of human being and the first effort for domesticating the tech kicked into gear last year with importing some foreign samples.
It is expected that the environmentally friendly technology win the market in near future and Iraq and Turkey are potential customers of the Iranian made balls.
A washing ball or laundry ball is hoped to substitute for laundry detergent. The major benefit of the balls is that they obviate the use of soap detergents which are harmful for the environment.
