Judiciary head slams Nimr’s execution

TEHRAN, Jan. 03 (MNA) – Head of the Judiciary, in a message, has condemned Saudi Arabia for execution of Sheikh Baqir Nimr al-Nimr.

According to the Judiciary public relations office, the message issued by Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani reads as follows:

In the name of God

“And reckon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead; nay, they are alive (and) are provided sustenance from their Lord” (Qoran, Al Imran-169, Surah The Family of Imran Verse-169)

I congratulate and condole over the martyrdom of the great scholar Sheikh Baqir Nimr al-Nimr to Imam Mahdi (PBUH), the Leader as well as all Muslims.

The execution of the pious devotee Sheikh al-Nimr was carried out by the Saudi government with the aim of disrupting the unity of the Muslim world and marks an extremely painful and tragic event for the Islamic nation.

The role of the global arrogance in the committed crime is crystal clear due to the fact that the hegemonic system has always been seeking an opportunity to disintegrate the unity of the Islamic Ummah in order to attain their malevolent goals in the region.

Saudi rulers struggled to hide their own failures in the region with the brutal action not being aware that the blood of martyrs of Saudi Arabia particularly the blood of Sheikh al-Nimr will reveal to the world the viciousness of Al Saudi marking the beginning of the collapse of Saudi’s evil government.
