Attended by eight foreign teams and four Iranian teams, the second edition of the Greco-Roman World Wrestling Clubs Cup was held in Persian Gulf Hall of Khorramshahr, southwestern Iran, on December 17–18.
At the final encounter, Iran’s Bimeh Razi trounced Dinamo of Armenia 7-1 on Friday winning the title of the event.
Bimeh Razi freestyle team had won the title of the World Wrestling Clubs Cup in late November in Tehran as well.
Iran’s Padideh Dokooheh came third defeating a Hungarian team 5-3.
In the first edition of competitions on 2014, Iranian team Pastor Andimeshk had won the Greco-Roman Wrestling Club World Championships, defeating Russian team Samurgashev in the final match of dual team tournament.
