South Pars 17th Phase starts gas production

BUSHEHR, Nov. 19 (MNA) – The inauguration of A17 gas rig in South Pars has started gas production on daily basis of 10m cubic meters.

Hassan Boyeri, the contractor responsible for operation of South Pars 17th and 18th phases told reporters on Wednesday that the rig currently produced gas from a joint gas field with all installation and operation completed; “the production will be 10m cubic meters of natural gas, which will be immediately rise to 15m cubic meters within future 10 days with enhancements in the reservoir,” he added.

“The operations to transfer gas to land portion of the project have been started which will transfer gas from the refinery for domestic use into 7th pipeline of the national grid after sweetening, dehumidification, and separation of gas fluids; A17 rig operation is a response to increasing demand in household, business, and industrial sector by coming of cold season,” Boyeri concluded.
