Leader’s points on Resistance Economy policies

TEHRAN, Nov. 11 (MNA) – Head of the office of Leader of the Islamic Revolution has communicated 4 recommendations to first vice-president on successful implementation of Resistance Economy policies.

The letter communicated to the press by Leader’s office on Tuesday was addressed to Ishaq Jahangiri and was written by Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Mohammadi Golpayegani, the Head of the Leader’s office; “your honorable letter containing government’s 11-point national plan on Resistance Economy was presented to the Leader; the Leader however provided some recommendations on successful and effective implementation of the polices given in that letter, as the Leader would not judge the plan according to specific principles,” the letter reads.

In the first recommendation, the letter emphasizes on observing Resistance Economy approaches in all plans and activities of the government bodies; “these approaches include fundamental justice, reliance on public, endogeneity, and extroversion, and reliance on knowledge; plans where these approaches should be considered are annual budget plan and the Sixth Development Plan; however, Resistance Economy should not be limited to these two; ensure that all activities and measures are in line with these policies,” reads the letter.

“Resistance Economy should not be assumed as separate entity from the Sixth Development Plan; rather, it should be a framework for the Plan, since the Plan’s General Policies, this has been emphasized,” the letter demands in its second recommendation.

The third recommendation demands that “the role of government bodies, geographical regions, the timetable for projects completion, and short-term (up to the end of government’s current term), mid-term (the end of Sixth Development Plan), and long-term (the end of 20-year Vision Plan) objectives be determined, and all involved government organizations should be accountable for implementation.”

“Mobilization and giving every individual of the society to participate in economic activities and strengthening of them, and using country’s full capacities especially of the youth, should be in the focus; plans should not be limited to government bodies,” the letter’s fourth recommendation observes.

The letter meant to be a response to a letter addressed to the Leader of the Islamic Republic by first vice-president, where Mr. Jahangiri presented to him with government’s 11-point national plan on implementation of Resistance Economy policies, and sought the opinion of the Leader.
