Enemy’s political, cultural plot to influence youth

TEHRAN, Oct. 07 (MNA) – Iran’s Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei reiterated that the enemies are trying to influence the youth by weakening their political and religious beliefs.

The Leader made the remarks in a meeting with the members of a committee to commemorate martyrs of Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari province on Monday.

An outline of his remarks was published on his official website today.

Pointing to the enemy’s plots and its comprehensive cultural, ideological and political invasion using all the tools against the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei said the current endeavors of faithful people and officials to confront enemy invasions in cultural and religious areas are useful and necessary.

He said focus on measures to promote notions as jihad, martyrdom and enduring hardship for the sake of God are among the most effective ways to thwart enemies' plots.

Underlining the need for efforts in promoting these basic concepts, the Leader said the use of artistic ways and propaganda methods is necessary to satisfy the public opinion on these topics and to create effective products.
