Jafari made the remarks in a meeting held to commemorate martyrs of western Iranian province, Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari.
He elaborated on the formation of four great plots against the Islamic Revolution since its very beginning.
The first plot, Jafari said, was 8-year imposed war of Iraq against Iran which resulted in the victory of Iran.
He added that the next was during the second decade of the Revolution during which enemies tried to stop and destroy the event.
He pointed to the post-election unrest in 2009 as the third plot against the Islamic Revolution, saying that the elements were seeking to disrupt security and tarnish the image of the Revolution.
He pointed to West’s illegal sanctions against Iran as the latest plot which was foiled due to Iran’s Leader’s vigilance, nuclear negotiations and nuclear deal.
IRGC Commander reiterated that enemies are seeking to take advantage of the space created following nuclear deal, to distort the Islamic Revolution especially in political field.
Economic relations with the negotiating sides will be problematic in case these ties bring dependency, said Jafari.
Earlier, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said the enemies are trying to influence young people to undermine their political and religious beliefs.
