The first fixture of the day 2 of round 7 of Iran’s Premier League of football, AKA Persian Gulf Cup, was held on Friday in Tabriz where the chain of misfortunes went on for the hosts and Tractorsazi was edge passed by Perspolis another troubled club of the season.
The reds’ Honduran striker Jerry Bengtson converted the penalty kick at the 72nd minute to hand Perspolis its second viuctory of the season in an away match.
Toni Oliveira, the Portugize manager of Tractorsazi, is under too much pressure after the popular club of Tabriz lost the home fixture in the seventh round and ended at the tenth place of the table with 7 point; with 1 point garnered averagely in every game.
In the second fixture of the day, Malavan hosted Padideh of Mashhad in Anzali port of Northern Iran and the two teams left the pitch with a scoreless draw to agree on sharing the points.
At Tehran Azadi Stadium, the blue giants of Tehran escaped the defeat in front of Rah Ahan who showed up too much vigure in their first fixture under the new manager Mehdi Tartar.
Bahador Abdi, Sebastian Strandvall, and Farshad Faraji scored for Rah Ahan but they were responded by Omid Ebrahimi (37, 45), and Arash Borhani who scored for Esteghlal.
