Iran, Belarus to discuss economic, political exchanges

TEHRAN, Aug. 24 (MNA) – The members of Iran-Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group departed for Minsk on Sunday night for bilateral talks on economic and political issues.

Iranian Parliament Economic Commission Speaker Rahim Zare' announced that the Iranian lawmakers have embarked on a five-day visit to the Belarusian capital.

He said the Iranian legislators are slated to meet high-ranking Belarus officials, including the country’s parliament speaker, heads of the parliamentary commissions and other MPs.

Iranian lawmakers will discuss economic and political exchanges as well as the cooperation between the parliaments of Iran and Belarus.

“The members of Iran-Belarus Parliamentary Groups will also try to share their experiences in the fields of production and trade in the post-sanctions era," Zare' underlined.
