Coastal Rudsar to turn to tourist magnet

TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (MNA) –- The coastal city of Rudsar in northern Iran will turn to a tourist hub in the near future, announced the Gilani city Mayor Mohammad-Hassan Hakimzadeh Tuesday.

He said 9 billion rials has been allocated for the establishment of modern entertainment centers, seafood restaurants, and suites and flats for tourists.

 

Providing facilities for private sectors to invest in the region, as well as preventing illegal construction in the city are also part of the program of Rudsar Municipality, he continued.

 

He added the Islamic City Council of Rudsar has had an effective role in developing the potentials of the city.  

 

Hakimzadeh said Rudsar Municipality, thanks to cooperation of private sectors, is to establish a theme park to promote tourism in the region, as well.

 

According to the official, an area with the length of 10km and width of 560m in Rudsar seaside is also under construction.
