According to Al-Manar News, tens of thousands of Turks came to the streets again today to protest against the policies of Prime Minister Erdogen. The largest gathering was in Izmir, where security forces suppressed demonstrations, and arrested the activists.
Thus, Turkish mass protests have entered into its tenth day. Meanwhile AK Party, the ruling party has ruled out the possibility of early elections.
Widespread protests, which began ten days ago, are still continuing in many cities of Turkey. In the first phase of the protests, people came to support the protesters in Gezi Park in Taksim Square, and gradually became anti-government protests, and demonstrators are now calling for the resignation of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
