Sanam Crowned at Asian All-Iranian Volleyball Final

Under Mostafa Karkhaneh, Sanam stunned Paykan 26-24 25-21 26-24 in the volleyball hall of Azadi Sports Complex, west of Tehran.

Earlier in the day, Kazakhstan crushed China’s Shanghai 3-0, standing third.

Sanam clobbered the Kazakh side in three consecutive sets in the semifinal match, winning 25-17 25-21 25-20 Tuesday.

In another semifinal, Paykan edged past Shanghai 3-0 as it won 25-23 25-23 25-20.
