Iran’s Cycling Federation VP Leaves for Munich

TEHRAN, June 29 (Mehr News Agency) – Vice-President of Iran’s Cycling Federation (ICF), Ali Zangiabadi, left here for the German city Munich Saturday to join national cyclists.

The Iranian team is holding a 30-day training camp to get ready for the world class B cycling event starting on July 5 in Switzerland.

 

Zangiabadi will accompany the cyclists.

 

The first- to  15th-placed  cross-country cyclists and the track champions and runners-up will qualify for 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

 

Otto Altok, the German cycling manager, said the Iranian team competed in various events held every week in his country and it is now ready for the world meet.
