Iranian film to compete at Moscow filmfest
TEHRAN -- Hassan Yektapanah’s “Bibi” will go on screen at the Competition Section at the 31st Moscow International Film Festival which will run until June 28.
The film is about an aged Iranian woman who has been displaced from Iraq to Iran during Iraq - Iran war. She does not have an Iranian ID card, but now, after 25 years of residence in Iran, she decides to obtain one for her cemetery organization.
Reza Mirkarimi’s “So Simple” won the Best Film Golden George at the 30th Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF).
