The website qalamnews.ir covers describes Mousavi’s views about the presidential election, the Fars news agency reported.
Mir-Hossein Mousavi was prime minister from 1981 to 1989, when Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was president. He was the last prime minister of Iran before the change in the Constitution which removed the post of prime minister.
Before that, he was the minister of foreign affairs.
Mohammad Khatami had stated earlier that he believes Mousavi is the most qualified person for the presidential post in the reformist camp.
According to some reports, Mousavi will definitely run in the June 12 presidential election, but has not announced his candidacy yet.
