In continuation of the wave of the international solidarity with the people of Iran, a group of Brazilian educational and trade union institutions unveiled specially designed T-shirts during a large teachers' march.
These T-shirts have the phrase "LUTE COMO UM IRANIANO" (Fight like an Iranian) in Portuguese, along with the Persian translation "Fight" and the slogan "EDUCADORES EM LUTA" (Educators in Battle).
The event, held in the city of São Paulo, was not just a union action. By wearing these T-shirts, Brazilian teachers sent their message to the world, “The Iranians’ struggle against injustice and oppression has now become a model for popular and union movements around the world.”
