Iran condemns Turkish driver death in Iran following attack

TEHRAN, Mar. 19 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has denounced the death of a Turkish driver in Iran following the US-Israeli aggression against the country.

Iran’s top diplomat expressed condolences for the unjust death of a Turkish driver in Iran in an incident caused by the US-Israeli military aggression.

In a message shared on his X account, Araghchi condemned the recent killing of a hardworking Turkish driver in Iran, characterizing it as a tragic example of the violence inflicted by hostile US-Israeli forces on Iranian territory.

“The unjust martyrdom of Hüseyin Firat, a hardworking Turkish driver targeted by the hostile US-Israeli forces on Iranian soil, is a clear indication that the attackers are targeting innocent civilians,” he said.

“In this blessed month, I pray to God for mercy upon this noble martyr and offer my condolences to his family,” the top Iranian diplomat added.

The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military aggression against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.

The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
