Iran is not initiating cyberattacks against any country

The Islamic Republic of Iran is not the initiator of any cyberattack against any country, but since it is the victim of cyber operations, it will respond to any cyber threat in proportion to its nature and scope, the mission said.

The Islamic Republic of Iran's mission to the United Nations made this statement in response to recent Microsoft reports alleging that Iran is using artificial intelligence for cyberattacks against the West.
