In the first match on Sunday, the Iranian female youth handball team was defeated by Tunisia 26-23 in the sporting event.
In the second match on Tuesday, Iran is scheduled to meet Chile.
Fatemeh Merikh was named the Player of the Match.
The competition is being held in North Macedonia from June 19 to 30.
