90 foreign dignitaries pay tribute to Raeisi, companions

TEHRAN, May 22 (MNA) – Dignitaries from dozens of countries took part in funeral ceremony held for late President Ebrahim Raeisi and his companions who were martyred in a helicopter crash in northwest Iran on May 19.

The ceremony was held at the Iran International Conference Center in the north of Tehran on Wednesday after the funeral procession in downtown Tehran which was attended by huge crowds of people.

According to the Iranian presidency's official webiste's report, as many as 90 foreign political leaders and officials of international organizations paid tribute to the late President Ebrahim Raeisi and his foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

The delegations included 10 heads of state and 20 ministers as well as parliament speakers and special representatives dispatched by 68 foreign governments to attend the ceremony, according to the National Iranian TV

Saudi Arabia: 

A Saudi delegation headed by assistant to the King Salman and foreign minister bin Farhan also paid tribute to late Iranian president and foreign minister.

Bahrain:

A Bahrini delegation headed by foreign minister Rashid Al Zayani also paid tribute to the late Iranian president and foreign minister.

United Arab Emirates(UAE):

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan headed a UAE delegation on the Tehran visit to pay tribute to late Iranian president and foreign minister who became martyred in a recent helicopter crash.

Turkey:

The Turkish delegation led by foreign minister Hakan Fidan paid tribute to the Iranian martyrs:

Oman delegation:

Omani government delegation also paid tribute to the Iranian martyrs.

Jordan:

A Jordanian delegation paid tribute to the late President Raeisi and the other martyrs in the tragic helicopter crash.

Serbia:

A Serbian delegation also paid tribute to the late Iranian president and other martyrs.

Nicaragua:

A Nicaraguan delegation also paid tribute to the Iranian martyrs in the tragic helicopter crash.

Iraqi Kurdistan Region:

Iraqi Kurdistan Region's delegation comprising president of the region Nechirvan Barzani and its prime minister Masrour Barzani also paid tribute to the martyred president of Iran and his companions.

Tunisia:

A Tunisian delegation who arrived in Tehran earlier today also paid tribute to the late President Raeisi and his entourage. 

Russia:

A Russian delegation headed by the chairman of the State Duma also paid tribute to the Iranian martyrs.

Malaysia: 

A Malaysian delegation also paid tribute to the martyred Iranian president and his companions. 

Afghanistan:

A Taliban delegation from Afghanistan also showed their respect to the Iranian martyrs including President Ebrahim Raeisi and his Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

Syria:

A Syrian delegation also paid tribute to martyred Raeisi and his entourage.

Palestine:

A Hamas delegation led by Ismail Haniyeh, the chief of the political bureau of the resistance movement also paid their respect to the Iranian martyrs.  

Tajikistan:

The president of Tajikistan headed a delegation to Iran to pay tribute to late Iranian president and his president.

Lebanon:

A Lebanese delegation headed by the speaker of the parliament also showed respect to the late Iranian president and his entourage who were martyred in the tragic delegation.

Yemen:

A Yemeni delegation headed by Ansar Allah movement's spokesman also paid their respect to late Iranian president and his martyred entourage.

Qatar:

A high-ranking Qatari delegation headed by the Emir and his foreign minister paid tribute to late President Raeisi and foreign minister Amir-Abdollahian. 

Iraq:

The head of Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units known as Hash Shaabi Faleh Fayad also paid tribute to the Iranian martyrs.

Uzbekistan:

An Uzbek delegation also showed their respect to the late Iranian president and his foreign minister Amir-Abdollahian.

Kazakhstan:

An Kazakh delegation also paid their tribute to the late Iranian president and his foreign minister Amir-Abdollahian.

Algeria:

An Algerian delegation headed by the speaker of the parliament visited Tehran and paid their respect to the late Iranian president and his entourage.

Hezbollah resistance movement Sheikh Naim Qassem also paid tribute to the Iranian martyrs.

A Belarusian delegation also in Tehran showed their respect to the late Iranian president and his entourage who were martyred in the chopper crash.

A Singaporean delegation also paid their respect to the Iranian martyrs.

China:

A Chinese delegation headed by deputy prime minister also showed their respect to late Iranian president and his entourage who became martyred in a recent chopper crash.

Japan: 
A Japanese delegation also showed their respect to the late Iranian president and his entourage.

OIC:

A delegation from the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) also showed respect to Martyred Raeisi and his companions on Tehran visit.
