Addressing a cremony on Monday, Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani said, "Relying on the power of domestic experts, the army is able to fully secure the water, land and air space of the country and boost its economic development and political and international interactions."
Referring to the effect of the authority and ability of the Iran navy on the promotion of the diplomatic power of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Admiral Irani said, "Holding successful naval exercises and sending the 86th naval fleet to distant seas are both a sign of the ability of the Iran navy to domestically produce tools and equipment needed by the ground force and a factor to show the glory and authority of Iran navy in global arena."
The Iran's navy has been able to break all cruel threats and sanctions with extra efforts, Admiral Irani noted.
