Iran rejects providing ballistic missiles to Russia

TEHRAN, Feb. 24 (MNA) – Iran’s permanent mission to the United Nations has categorically rejected the allegations claiming that Iran has provided Russia with ballistic missiles for the Ukraine war.

"Despite the fact that there are no legal restrictions on the sale of ballistic missiles, Iran is morally obligated to refrain from arms deals during the Russia-Ukraine conflict to avoid fueling the war. This is rooted in Iran's adherence to international laws and the UN Charter," the mission said.

Citing 6 informed sources, Reuters recently claimed that Iran had provided Russia with a massive number of surface-to-surface missiles.

Reacting to this issue, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed that the repetition of claims against Iran regarding the war in Ukraine has reached a boring stage.
