The Somalian army conducted the anti-terrorism operation in the Galmudug region with the assistance of international partners.
Meanwhile, local sources reported that more than al-Shabaab terrorist forces were killed in the south of Somalia after their attack on the region failed.
Twenty other militias were killed after their base came under the airstrikes of the Somalian army, the reports added.
