Iran parl. approves bill to protect women against misconducts

In an open session of Parliament in Tehran on Sunday, the Social Commission’s report on the bill was reviewed and approved by the lawmakers.

The step aims to further protect Iranian women against violence and harassment.

Parliamentarians approved the single-urgency bill with 190 votes in favor, 45 votes against, and 9 abstentions.
