Indian Air Force fighter jet crashes, pilot killed

TEHRAN, Mar. 17 (MNA) – Pilot of a "MiG-21" fighter jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) was killed during a military training operation.

The pilot of the Indian Air Force (IAF) was killed on Wednesday when MiG-21 Bison aircraft crashed in central India, Dawn newspaper reported.

A statement from the Indian Air Force added that MiG fighter jet, which was conducting military training, has suddenly crashed.

The Indian Air Force has announced that it has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
