Zonnour reelected as head of parl. national security commission

TEHRAN, Jun. 21 (MNA) – Mojtaba Zonnour has been reelected as the head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.

Zonnour, representative of Qom in the Parliament, had chaired the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission in the previous Parliament, which ended its mission on May 20.

Earlier this month, he was also elected as the chairman of the newly-established ‘national defense and authority fraction’ of the Iranian Parliament, while Mohammad Saleh Jokar and Mehdi Sa’adati were elected as first and second deputies of chairman.
