3 Afghan police forces killed in Kabul

TEHRAN, Jun. 07 (MNA) – A spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior said on Sunday that seven police forces have been killed and injured in a Taliban attack in Kabul.

A spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior said on Sunday that three police forces were killed in an attack by the Taliban on a security checkpoint in Kabul.

“Four security forces have also been injured during the attack,” the spokesman noted.

Taliban reportedly suffered heavy casualties during the clash and has not issued any statement so far.

It should be noted that Afghanistan is on the verge of starting international talks.
