Iran concedes first defeat at 2019 FINA World Junior Water Polo

TEHRAN, Dec. 13 (MNA) – The Iranian team conceded a 27-4 defeat against the United States in the 2019 edition of FINA World Men's Junior Water Polo Championships on Friday.

Iran had won its first game 15-7 over the host, Kuwait, on Thursday. The team will take on Italy on Saturday.

Iran is in Group C of the even along with Kuwait, Italy, Montenegro, and the US.

The competitions kicked off on Thursday in Kuwait and will run through Dec. 20.
