Mohammad Javad Zarif made the remarks on the sidelines of the 18th Session of the D-8 Council of Ministers, which was held in Antalya, Turkey, on Friday.
“Most countries except for some small countries, have begun to oppose US behavior, especially in relation to imposition of unilateral sanctions” Zarif told IRNA correspondent on Saturday.
The Iranian foreign minister added that the US stance and its negligence of international obligations poses a serious threat to the global order.
He noted that the EU issued a new statement yesterday that, and in addition to foreign ministers, treasury ministers of the three EU member states on behalf of other union members, have decided not to allow these sanctions to hamper economic cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
