Iranian filmmaker joins jury panel of Izmir Short Filmfest.

TEHRAN, Oct. 27 (MNA) – Iranian filmmaker Saeid Nejati has joined the international jury panel at the 19th Izmir International Short Film Festival in Turkey.

Saeid Nejati received his master of cinema from Soore University of Tehran. He has made 14 fiction and experimental short films, with screenings at over 250 local, national, and international festivals. He has received awards from 6th Nepal Human rights International film festival, BiGBANG International Short Film Festival, and jury mention for his 'It Rains Slowly' at the 21st Religion Today festival in Italy.

Three Iranian short films, 'Loop' by Omid Safaei, 'Stonemaker' directed by Ali Navaeian, and 'Whole to Part', directed by Vahid Hosseini-Nami, have also been accepted into the competition section of the Turkish festival.

The 19th edition of the event is slated for October 30 to November 4, 2018.
