Armed forces chief of staff to visit Pakistan

TEHRAN, Jul. 14 (MNA) – Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Bagheri heading a high-ranking delegation of Iranian military commanders will make a trip to Pakistan.

The visit will be made upon the official invitation of Pakistan’s Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Expanding Iran-Pakistan cooperation on border security and fight against terrorism and discussing the latest developments of the region and Islamic World are considered the main topics of future meetings.

Military officials will also review the agreements made by the two countries in November 2017 when Pakistan’s Army Chief visited Iran.

The exact date of this visit has not been announced.

Experts believe that this trip is very important, taking into account the security developments of the region.
