‘Amber’ to vie at UK’s Golden Script Competition

TEHRAN, Jun. 27 (MNA) – ‘Amber’ written by Iranian filmmaker and screenwriter Iman Davari has been accepted into the competition program of the 2nd Golden Script Competition in the UK.

The Golden Script Competition is a yearly competition founded in Glasgow, UK, of short and feature screenplays from all around the world.

The winner of the second edition will be announced on the 5th of July, 2018.

Davari’s script narrates the life of Attila, an eight-year-old boy, who breaks a bedroom window while hitting a baseball, and begins having a recurring nightmare of seeing himself in a baby’s bedroom and then getting chased by the ghost of an old man.

‘Amber’ was previously nominated for the best script award at the 2017 Five Continents International Film Festival in Venezuela.
