Iran awaits no permit to boost military power

TEHRAN, May 24 (MNA) – The deputy coordinator of Iranian Army's Navy said Thurs. that Iranian armed forces are fully ready against the external threats, adding Iran does not wait to get permission to strengthen its military power.

“We do not wait for permission from any foreign country and do not need any foreign help to boost our military capabilities,” said Rear Admiral Hamza Ali Kaviani in a ceremony in the southern city Khorramshahr on Thursday to commemorate the anniversary of the liberation of the city in a fierce battle from the Ba’ath regime of Saddam back in 1982 after two years.

Kaviani hailed the preparedness of the Iranian armed forces, saying that they are standing against arrogant powers to protect the nation under the wise leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Republic.
