Turkey against any foreign intervention to destabilize Iran

TEHRAN, Jan. 07 (MNA) – Turkey’s Prime minister said on Saturday that Turkey never tolerates foreign intervention in Iran, warning that Iran need to be vigilant against ‘malevolent’ plots in the region.

Speaking at a provincial congress of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party in the central province of Nevsehir, Binali Yildirim warned Iranian government “against those who have ‘malevolent’ designs in the region”, adding that Tehran needs to be vigilant against foreign intervention.

According to Turkey’s Anadolu Agency, Turkish prime minister added “Turkey never tolerates foreign intervention in the peace in Iran.”

He also reacted to US court’s verdict against a Turkish bank accused of helping Iran evade US sanctions and said “the US judges convicted Hakan Atilla in a case based on fabricated evidence provided by the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO).”

Earlier last Wednesday, a jury in New York found Atilla guilty on five counts related to conspiracy and bank fraud but acquitted him of a money laundering charge, Anadolu Agency added.
