‘Where Are We Going?’ to vie at Ukrainian Filmfest.

TEHRAN, Nov. 18 (MNA) – Documentary short film ‘Where Are We Going?’ by Reza Majlesi will compete as finalist at Zaporizhia film festival, Ukraine.

‘Where Are We Going?’ was selected as one of the finalists for the short documentary section in 2017 Zaporizhia film festival. 

The 2017 Zaporizhia film festival will be held on December 1 to 3, in Zaporizhia, Ukraine. 

‘Where Are We Going?’ is a documentary film by Reza Majlesi on toxic waste and the ecological issues it causes. 

In this documentary short film, Majlesi goes to Saravan County which is the biggest waste dump in Northern Iran and tries to show the hazards of waste for the scenic nature of Rasht, the capital city of Gilan Province. Majlesi interviews experts about the waste dump and delivers their warning against the hazardous effects it can have on public health.

‘Where Are We Going?’ has so far collected numerous awards in 15 Iranian and foreign film festivals.
