Ayatollah Khatami raps Saudi war crimes against Lebanon

Tehran, Nov. 10 (MNA) – Ayatollah Khatami said Friday that Saudi Arabia wants to maintain crisis and disorder in Yemen and added “Saudi regime is involved in all the crimes committed in the region, such as Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen.”

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, who led the Friday Prayers today said “we have to be grateful to the people of Iraq for their warm welcome to Iranian pilgrims.”

Discussing the referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan, he said “that referendum was a plot to establish another Israel in the region. Iranian and Iraqi officials advised the region's leader against it, but he held the referendum obstinately, and only later he realize he had acted in favor of the US and Israel. Long live the nation of Iraq who managed to resettle in Kirkuk, which formerly exported 35 thousand barrels a day. I urge the new Iraqi Kurdistan leaders to make use of past experience and do not turn into mere puppets of the US and Israel.”

Referring to the resignation of Lebanese PM Saad Al-Hariri, he said “Saudi Arabia has made a flagrant interference in the affairs of another country. The Saudi regime has forced the prime minister of the country to resign. However, Al-Hariri abased himself by going to the Saudi Arabia.”

“The Saudi Arabia wants to maintain disorder and crisis in Lebanon. The Saudi regime is involved in all the crimes committed in the region, such as Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen and we express hope that their plot in Lebanon will be foiled.”
