Speaking on the sidelines of a ceremony, Jafari responded to a question about Saad Hariri’s allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran; "when he declares his resignation in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh, it is clear that Saudi Arabia and Zionist regime are behind the scene for inflammation and aggravation of situation in Lebanon.”
“Perhaps, Hariri’s resignation from Lebanese premiership was not too bad, because, he did not render quality services to the Lebanese people. Relying upon the assistance of the Almighty God, the situation in this country will be ameliorated," he noted.
On the US President Donald Trump’s claim over Yemen’s missile attack fired towards Saudi Arabia and use of Iranian missiles in these attacks, Jafari said “US President has learned to utter baseless and unfounded remarks, the most important of which is related to the transfer of missile and weapons to Yemen by Iranian government which is sheer lie and baseless.”
"It is impossible to transfer missile to Yemeni land and territory; these missiles which are firing towards Saudi Arabia belong to Yemeni government which have rebuilt them. Yemeni government is after revenging blood of its martyrs with boosting their missile range,” he added.
