During the meeting with the Omani King, Foreign Minister Zarif of Iran exchanged views with the monarch on bilateral ties, regianl issues like the crises in Syria and Yemen, and the new developments in northern Iraq.
Following his arrival in Muscat, the Iranian top diplomat met with his Omani counterpart, Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, on Monday, before meeting with other officials of the Arab country, especially Sultan Qaboos of the kingdom.
After meeting the Omani head of state, Mr. Zarif left Muscat for Qatari capital city of Doha.
