‘Simulation’ to vie at ARS Filmfest of Poland

TEHRAN, Sep. 23 (MNA) – The first film of Iranian director Abed Abest is going to be the only representative of Asia at Ars Independent Festival.

Simulation (Tamaroz) is the first feature length movie of Abed Abest, the Iranian director from southern city of Bandar Abbas.

The Drama of 84 minute length is in Farsi and recounts the story of three young people who are searching for a source of entertainment at the weekend. When they decide to pay a visit to the place of an old man whom they do not have an intimate relations with, they encounter new events.

Maryam Shafie of Hich Film is the producer of the film but the rights of distribution in the North America belongs to Gravitas Venture. The International distributor of the film is owned by Iranian Independents.           

Ars Independent Festival 2017 is the seventh edition of the film, animation, video games and music videos festival. This year, it takes place between September 26 and October 1 in Katowice, Poland.
