Trial of an Anonymous Woman directed by Iranian filmmaker of the Southern Province of Hormozgan, Mohamadreza Rokneddini, was awarded at the 2017 edition of the Action On Film International Film Festival.
The 21 minute work, the 14th film of Rokneddinim, examines the situation of human being in the society of today. It has been produced by Banafshe Ebrahimi and Zobeydeh Gerdakani, the two independent producers of the same province.
It won the award in the category of best experimental project while this year edition of the festival hosted 60 Iranian films.
Nabi Zie, Mehdi Yarmohammadi, Maryam Pirband, and Mehrdad Salek made up the jury judging the Iranian works in the festival.
This year’s edition of the Action On Film Festival (AOF) was held in Las Vegas where film enthusiasts piled into theaters in the running days of the festival between August 17 and 27.
