Syrian army destroys ISIL fortifications ,hideouts in Deir Ezzor

DEIR EZZOR, May 23 (MNA) – Syrian Army and Armed Forces units, backed by the Syrian Air Force, carried out strikes against gatherings and fortifications for ISIL terrorist organization in Deir Ezzor city and its surrounding.

SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor said that the Syrian Air Force killed a number of ISIL terrorists and destroyed their equipment during its airstrikes against their movements, gatherings and fortifications in the graveyards area, al-Tharda junction, the area surrounding al-Panorama and the Regiment 137 on the southwest outskirts of Deir Ezzor city.

Earlier, the reporter said that an army unit destroyed ISIL fortifications and hideouts in Deir Ezzor, killing and injuring a number of ISIL terrorists in al-Reshdiyeh neighborhood, the graveyards area and in the surroundings of the regiment 137 and the Panorama and in Thardeh Mountain.

The reporter added that an army unit on Monday targeted ISIL terrorist organization’s fortifications in al-Bghiliyeh village, west of Deir Ezzor and destroyed a mortar launcher and fortified points for them.
