Mohammadreza Nematzadeh is scheudeld to inaugurate and visit the third specialized exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad on Tuesday.
The four-day exhibition aims to introduce the latest Iranian products and achievements to international consumers and producers. 145 Iranian companies active in various fields such as food products, home appliances, construction materials, auto making, cosmetics, hygienic materials, hospital equipment, and dairy will display their products to Iraqi visitors at Baghdad International Fairground from 14-17 February.
During his one-day visit to Baghdad, Nematzadeh is also slated to hold talks with a number of senior Iraqi officials including ministers of trade, industries and mine on expansion of cooperation.
In the last year’s exhibition, more than 260 Iranian companies showcased their products to Iraqi visitors in the spirit of expanding areas of cooperation in energy, health and other sectors, through public and private companies in an effort to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two states.
The two countries' trade volume currently stands at $12 billion.
