Karl Viktor Erjavec, Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, sent a message to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif on Thursday to congratulate the Iranian top diplomat over the 38th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of 1979.
Voicing his satisfaction with the traditional good status of bilateral ties between the two countries of Iran and Slovania, Mr. Erjavec reaffirmed his country’s commitment to develop political and economic ties with Iran especially under the blueprint outlined in the JCPOA (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action signed between Iran and 5+1 on July 14, 2015).
Referring to his latest visit to Tehran, the Slovenian diplomat stressed on developing and bolstering bilateral ties between the two countries and nations of Iran and Slovenia and reassured that his country is ready and willing to support the all-out expansion of ties in all areas especially on the economic fields. Karl Viktor Erjavec, Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, was among the big delegation accompanying Slovenian President Borut Pahor who visited Tehran in late November 2016.
