Iran wrestling Federation will organize the Senior Freestyle World Cup to be competed by eight top teams of the world in Imam Khomeini Sport Venue of Kermanshah Province on February 16-17.
The Iranian outfit has been seeded in Group B of the tournament along with Turkey, India and Mongolia.
The names of the selected senior Iranian freestyle athletes are as follow:
57kg: Hassan Rahimi and Younes Sarmasti
61kg: Behnam Ehsanpour and Masoud Esmaeilpour
65kg: Meysam Nasiri and Mahdi Yeganeh Jafari
70kg: Mostafa Hosseinkhani and Hamed Shiri
74kg: Peyman Yarahmadi and Bahman Teimouri
86kg: Hassan Yazdani and Alireza Karimi
97kg: Amir Mohammadi and Hossein Shahbazi
125kg: Komeil Ghasemi and Yadollah Mohebbi
Iranian wrestlers will be led by Mohammad Talaei as the head coach in the 2017 Freestyle World Cup.
