‘Survival’ to be screened in Italian festival

TEHRAN, Sep. 25 (MNA) – Masoud Hatami’s ‘Survival’ will seek its odds of success in Corto Lovere Short Film Festival in Italy.

Two other Iranian short movies ‘More than Two Hours,’ by Ali Asgari and short animated story ‘Nobody’ by Elham Toroqi also will participate in the festival.

The non-profit cultural association “Domenico Oprandi Foundation” organizes the nineteenth edition of cortoLovere, the International Film Festival addressed to foreign and Italian filmmakers, film schools, specialized institutes, associations and companies that have produced short films. The festival not only welcomes short movies produced in the last three years, but it is also a gathering place and a place where reflection upon trends, techniques and strategies for the movie production today is encouraged.

The mission of the event according to its official website is to promote young directors; to promote audiovisual literacy; and to promote and spread the short movie format through the country to encourage communication and debate between the filmmakers and the audience, inter alia.
