Strong presence of Iranian cinema in Indian filmfest.

TEHRAN, Sep. 24 (MNA) – The 2nd All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF), which kicked off today, will screen seven films from Iranian filmmakers.

The selected Iranian films for screening in the second edition of All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) include ‘Houra’ by Gholamreza Sagharchian and ‘Tahchin’ by Mehdi Hosseinivand in the section of International Competition for Debut Directors, ‘Road to Ruin’ by Yaser Talebi in the section of International Competition for Feature Films, and ‘Burglar Alarm’ by Mani Masoumi in the International Competition for Short Films.

In the Out of Competition section, ‘The Long Farewell’ by Farzad Motamen, ‘A Report on Mina’ by Kaveh Mazaheri and ‘Anna’ by Asal Gharib will be screened during the four-day festival.

The 2nd All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) is currently underway in the city of Hyderabad, India, on Sep. 24-27, 2016.
