The third edition of Iran’s Coal Congress was opened early in the morning on Tuesday in Shahroud city of Iran’s Semnan province with 172 scientific papers received by the secretariat of the event. Twenty of the papers would be recited during the two-day course of the congress which is attended by the presidents of industrial universities of Iran and foreign experts of the field from Brazil, Australia, Ukraine, and Spain.
“Iran, a rich country in coal mines, will enjoy more development if the hurdles of the field are cleared,” said Mohammad Mehdi Fateh, the President of Industrial University of Shahroud.
Fateh highlighted the role of Iranian scientists, engineers, experts and miners as the propellers of the mining industry in Iran who use the indigenized science for the progress of their country.
“Both taking advantage of the scientific potentials, and clearing the obstacles, pave the way for progress and development,” reiterated the President of Industrial University of Shahroud.
