Co-hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology of Iran and the TIC, Iran Connect will be the first gateway for international companies to access the Iranian telecoms market. Senior managers from ICT companies will gather together to exchange the latest information about innovations and new technologies as well as to introduce existing potentials for investment in ICT fields.
Reacting to some concerns voiced by a number of Iranian MPs in regard to the ban on the participation of some Iranian officials who have been under European sanctions, ICT Minister Mahmoud Vaezi and Senior MP Alaeddin Boroujerdi said the organizer of the conference has lifted the conditions for participation and all companies are welcome to attend the event.
According to Iran’s ICT minister, the conference has a technical-economic approach and is by no means political, therefore no political or military officials have requested to participate in the event.
Iran Connect will be held on 6-7 September 2016 in Tehran and will unite the entire international telecoms ecosystem looking to do business in Iran.
